Good Friday morning everyone! The system in SW SD is generally staying south as dry air prevent northward movement of the snow. Southwestern counties could still see some light snow with rain mixed in with times but we generally expect less than an inch with higher elevation areas with better chances of 1-4″ of snow. The arctic front pushes this system south into this evening, but we could see some scattered snow shower activity with the front this afternoon and evening with lingering flurries overnight. Accumulations will be hit or miss but a few spots could get a dusting to 0.5″:
Temperatures will be quite a bit cooler as we work into tomorrow lingering below freezing for Eastern North Dakota:
Flood watches remain in effect for South-Central ND due to excessive snow melt with above freezing temperature continuing today:
As we work into Sunday, a weak wave will push southeast into North Dakota and drop some isolated light snowfall and flurries. Most miss out but a few patchy dustings mainly in NE ND are possible:
