3-28-19 Minnesota: Scattered snow showers over the next few days. Overall quiet pattern into next week. B.

Today’s Video:

Good Thursday morning. We have a mix of rain/snow in portions of Southwest Minnesota that will transition to rain and push east into the afternoon hours today. A few scattered snow showers are possible mainly in northern portions of the state this morning with a few flurries or snow showers in NW MN tonight:

A reinforcing front will work towards the area as we work into tomorrow afternoon which will likely spawn a line of snow showers with some light accumulations possible in Northern Minnesota. Note* simulated radar is about a county too far south with the current line of precipitation in N. SD and Western Minnesota. Mix of rain/snow transitioning to rain likely closer to areas like Montevideo, Redwood Falls rather than Pipestone to St. James.

We could see a weak wave of energy as we work into Sunday so additional light snow is possible for Northern Minnesota on Sunday:
