Here is a look at simulated radar from 7 AM this morning through 11 PM Saturday.  There is a risk for some severe weather today, mainly for strong wind gust and hail.  However, the severe potential is heightened tomorrow, especially across northern portions of the state, where a warm front/ cold front can interact with better ingredients.  Tomorrow, all modes of severe weather will be possible including strong winds, large hail, and tornadoes.  Please watch video for complete details.

Here is a look at the latest Severe Weather Outlook from the Storm Prediction Center.  All modes of severe weather will be possible including tornadoes, strong winds, and hail.  The area of greatest concern is across northern IL where there will be more favorable conditions for severe thunderstorms.  If the current preferred model is correct, these risk may need to be shifted slightly further to the north.  Please watch video for a complete breakdown.

Breezy conditions look to develop Saturday evening into Sunday.  Here is a look at the sustained winds around 10 AM Sunday morning.  Sustained winds of 20 + MPH will be possible with gust of 40 + MPH.
