Here is a look at the past 24 hour rainfall accumulations:

Widespread fog is noted this morning across the state.  Here are the current advisories (as of 5:45 AM CDT).

Here is a look at modeled fog this morning from 6 AM through noon.

Here is a look at the current temperatures (as of 5:30 AM CT).  Some spots across northeastern IL are reporting temperatures around 30 F – 31 F.  Pavement temperatures are likely warmer, but cannot rule out some freezing fog/ slick spots where the temperatures are below 32 F.  Widespread issues are not anticipated.

Most of today will be dry.  However, a weak pulse of precipitin moves through tonight, mainly across northern counties.  Here is a look at simulated radar from 10 PM tonight through 6 AM tomorrow morning.

Multiple round of rain/ thunderstorms will be possible into the weekend as a warm front stall out across the state.  Some heavy rainfall and stronger storms are not out of the question.  Here is a look at simulated radar from 1 PM tomorrow afternoon through 10 AM Sunday morning.  Please watch video for more details.
