3-23-20 Tovar Dubuque: Fog this morning… discussing chances for precipitation this week. MG.

IA Video:

Some patchy fog is in the area this morning.  This fog will continue to through about 8 AM – 9 AM this morning.  Fog could linger a bit longer in NW IA this morning.  More details in the video.  The image below shows the visibilities around 8 AM this morning.  The darker shades are indicative of lower visibilities due to fog.  May see some fog tomorrow morning as well.

Here is a look at simulated radar from 10 AM this morning through 4 PM tomorrow.  Some patchy mist will be possible throughout the day today as some lingering low level moisture will be present.  As we get into tomorrow, some light rain will be possible across the southern tier counties.  More details in the video.

Precip will be very light where it falls.  Amounts of a few hundredths to a tenth of an inch will be possible.  Here is a look at modeled rainfall totals through Tuesday evening.  Amounts will be patchy and not everyone will see it.

Pattern gets a bit more active as we get into the second half of the week with multiple chances of rain/ storms.  Here is a look at simulated radar from 1 PM Wednesday through 7 PM Saturday.
