Good Thursday morning everyone. Another quiet start to the day with some areas of freezing fog in the Eastern Dakotas and Western Minnesota (fog double lines, freezing fog triple lines with V):

Fog will lift into mid-day and sunny skies will dominate the weather throughout the day today! With clear skies and high pressure combined with the snow on the ground, dense freezing fog likely develops overnight tonight especially across the Dakotas and Western Minnesota where snow is on the ground:

A system begins to work in late tomorrow with light rain showers likely tomorrow night and Saturday especially in South Dakota. As we work into Sunday an arctic front will push south and produce scattered rain and snow showers across North Dakota as well with scattered rain into Southern Minnesota:
