Clouds will linger across Minnesota today, with clearing skies across the Dakotas. This will lead to the risk of fog/freezing fog across areas with the big snowpack on the ground especially over Eastern SD and SE ND. 

Another fog threat is possible in the Western Dakotas on Friday morning: 

Overall, precipitation threats are limited until the weekend with a weak storm system slowly working across the plains. This will lead to some light rainfall across mainly South Dakotas and Southern Minnesota on Saturday and Sunday:
