3-2-20 Tovar Dubuque: Limited wintry potential tomorrow morning. MG.

Good afternoon!  Overall, the forecast has remained on track.

Here is a look at a 6 – Panel of simulated radar guidance from 4 AM tomorrow morning though 9 AM.  A pulse of light rain/ snow will begin to work its way into northwest IL around 4 AM and will continue to push east throughout the early morning hours.  By 9 AM this moisture will be around the Chicago area.

Here is a look at additional precipitation totals through tomorrow morning.

Here is a look at temperatures from 4 AM through 9 AM tomorrow morning.  During the onset of the precipitation, temperatures in northern IL will be around 30 F, but temperatures largely get to at/ above freezing by 7 AM.  We cannot rule out some isolated slick spots across northern IL during the early morning hours in places such as Dubuque, Freeport, Rockford, and just west of the Chicago metro area.  By 8 AM, temperatures look to warm enough to largely avoid slick spots.  Temperatures will continue to climb later in the morning hours.
