3-2-20 500 Festival Education Program: Mostly dry tomorrow, but gusty winds remain likely. B.

Good morning everyone. To go along with today’s forecast discussion and hourly graphic I have attached today’s Indiana forecast video below:

Here is our hourly forecast for tomorrow’s education study trip:

Forecast Blurb:

We cannot 100% rule out some very patchy fog in low-lying areas tomorrow morning, but given warm temperatures today and marginal temperatures tomorrow morning, we aren’t expecting travel issues. Throughout the rest of the day the sun will likely come out and allow temperatures to warm up into the low 50s. However, we cannot rule out a passing shower or a few sprinkles between 1 – 3PM, but this will be highly scattered and very light and the vast majority of the time will be dry. Winds will really pick up into the afternoon with gusts increasing to 30-35 MPH after noon. Sustained winds of 15-20 MPH are likely throughout the afternoon with persistent gusts of 25-35 and isolated higher.

Here’s a look at wind gusts from noon to 7PM EST:
