3-18-19: Quiet week ahead overall…notable warming trend for next weekend & return to active next week. N.

Indiana Video:

Good morning!  The week ahead will feature a fairly quiet pattern.  A weak disturbance/front will bring light showers on Wednesday.  We’ll see sunny and milder conditions to end the week and going into next weekend.

Sunny skies this morning give way to partly cloudy skies this afternoon, then clearing overnight.  Same for Tuesday.  It will be a frosty night with the risk of a little patchy freezing fog north.  Most don’t see it.  More on location in the forecast video.  There is an outside chance of a spotty sprinkle this afternoon, but 98% of us won’t see it.

A weak disturbance bring a few light showers Wednesday and Wednesday night.  This looks to arrive 8am-noon Wednesday, and exit midnight-8am Thursday.

Rain totals mid-week only around 0.1″ for most:

Wind forecast over the next 4 days:  A bit breezy Wednesday and Thursday.

Late week into the weekend looks quiet, with a notable warming trend developing Friday, and really kicking into gear this weekend through early next week.  Highs of 60-65º next weekend!  🙂 Lots of sun Friday and Saturday.  Sunday may bring a shower or two, but much of the data is now holding that off until Sunday night.  One thing for sure – the active pattern returns next week!  Data showing rather healthy rain amounts with a system early next week then again late next week.  There will be warm-ups ahead of these systems, and brief cool-downs as they pass.  AKA typical early spring weather expected.  10-day rain totals.  The weekend may not be a bad time to throw down some fertilizer on the lawn.
