Winter storm warnings for northern Nebraska. The further west you are in the warning, the more snow. The further east, more ice and less snow. Temperatures will be more marginal across northwest Iowa…most icing confined to elevated surfaces.

The greatest icing will occur east of highway 83 in northern Nebraska…especially along the South Dakota border. A tenth to a quarter-inch of ice possible here, especially on elevated objects.
Snowfall potential…3-5″ with locally more from Valentine to Chadron, lower snow totals east.
Potential is alive for rain in Kansas with a storm system late Sunday through Monday night. More snow is possible across western Nebraska, perhaps into extreme northwest Kansas.
Data showing a decent swath of 0.5″ to 1″+ across much of central, eastern, and northern Kansas. The southwest corner of the state will see a lot less. At least a lot of the state will get some moisture!
