Good Wednesday morning! Current radar showing scattered flurries and light snow showers continuing across the area, but gradually shifting east and weakening.
Scattered flurries and light snow showers should gradually end from west to east this morning, exiting eastern Indiana by 11am ET. Periods of sunshine are expected today. A few flurries or brief snow showers possible overnight and especially Thursday (enhanced by Lake Michigan) but these will be light and overall not cause any impact or accumulations. Expect highs in the upper 30s east to middle 40s west today, with west winds gusting to 20 mph.
As discussed in the video, we will be watching the potential of a wintry mix after midnight Friday night into Saturday morning. Still some uncertainty in how far northeast the moisture makes it, but something to keep an eye on. Temperatures Saturday should quickly rise above freezing, so it would be a brief period. Precipitation should end Saturday afternoon, with Sunday looking dry with some sun, and much milder! Another system with wintry implications next week? More details in the video. Posted below is the forecast radar for Friday night through Saturday:
