3-14-18 Illinois Forecast: Quiet next couple of days….watching for rain and a possible wintry mix Friday evening into Saturday. Details here! N.

Synopsis: Good Wednesday morning! A nice day ahead across the state with mostly sunny skies and afternoon highs ranging from the middle 40s east to middle 50s in the far west. West-southwest wind gusting 20-25 mph.  We stay dry on Thursday, then showers spread in across southwest Illinois Friday.  We will need to watch Friday night as the moisture works further north into the colder air, where there could be a period of freezing rain/mixed precip. in north central and northern Illinois.  After some lingering showers Saturday, the second half of the weekend looks decent and trending warmer.  A potent system looks to impact the state early next week.  Details in the video below.  Have a great day!
