Forecast radar shows snow showers shifting south/eastward over the next few hours, then scattered snow squalls this afternoon. Data picking up on enhanced snow squalls across western sections of the La Porte district between 2-10 PM CDT.
Snow will be hit and miss over the next 12 hours….data picking up on two distinct areas of snow accumulations…from La Porte to St. Joseph counties and southeast, and across portions of Lake, Newton, Porter, and Jasper counties. 1-2″+ in pockets.
Temperatures struggle to warm above freezing in northern areas today…then quickly fall into the 20s this evening.
