Lake effect snow showers will kick in here this morning and hang around over the next 48hrs as a brisk NW wind off the lake takes hold. Key will be March sun angle and surface temps as highs today will get into the upper 30s. I think its possible some places could see 2-3″ by time its all said and done Wednesday AM. Primary area of focus will be from Porter to St Joseph county. It will stretch further SE so make sure to get the details of timing and location in the video forecast. Beyond Wednesday this week is rather calm. The next disturbance works in this weekend and will bring light rain into the area. Overall the next week runs cooler than normal.
