3-12-18 Central Plains Forecast: Quiet pattern through mid-week…some changes work in late week. Details here! N.

Video (5 min):

Good Monday morning!  A quiet pattern for the first half of the week as high pressure remains in control.

We keep cool temperatures around through Tuesday, but Wednesday looks very nice with a warmer southwest flow, bringing widespread 50s and 60s for everyone.

Some changes start to take shape late week, and the video discusses a possible system Thursday night through Friday.  Portions of Nebraska have a couple chances to see wet snow, especially northwest.  Check out the precipitation accumulation over the next week:

Weeks 1 and 2 outlooks: Overall pattern will continue to favor colder air air to the north, with locations further south staying warmer.  Southwest Kansas remains very dry, with a decent opportunity for moisture across Nebraska into Missouri.
