3-11-18 Indiana: rain/snow mix possible south tonight…a few slick spots possible too? K.

Good Sunday afternoon! We wanted to post a short update for folks down in southern Indiana for the risk for a rain to snow mix (at times heavy, wet snow possible especially southwest), with a few slick spots possible leading up to the Monday morning commute. Have a blessed week ahead! -Kirk

Here’s our current thoughts on when the transition of rain/snow moves into the south, starting across southwestern areas gradually pushing east. The main timeframe will be 4pmEDT to 2amEDT before things push south and east of the River:

Here’s the same area where temps begin to fall below freezing Monday morning, likely from 4-8amEDT…a few slick spots will be possible across overpasses, sheltered areas, side roads and bridges that are away from the wind, which will be gusting at times out of the Northwest up to 20-25mph.
