3-10-20 Tovar SE WI: Latest thoughts on light wintry precip Wed AM.V.

Good Tuesday Afternoon! Below is your latest forecast update:

We are still watching for a weak pulse of precipitation to work across the state late tonight/ early tomorrow AM. Thanks to temps today in the 40s with sunny skies, highs in the upper 40s/50s over the past couple days, and lows only reaching 31-33 tonight, we are not favoring widespread pavement impacts across the state. We think light accumulations from Stevens Point to Oshkosh to Green Bay would primarily occur on grassy, elevated surfaces. Those areas mentioned (as shown in the snowfall image) have the highest potential across the state of seeing very minor pavement impacts and an iso slick spot can’t be 100% ruled out if a light a light snow shower persists. Below is a look at sim radar and snowfall totals that fall from the sky. While some snow flakes can certainly mix in with some rain showers in the SE part of the state (MIL, Kenosha) in the early AM hours, again we are not favoring pavement impacts thanks to some of the factors mentioned above.
