IL Update:

Here is a look at past 24 hour rainfall accumulations as of 4 AM.

Here is a look at the current radar as of 5:45 CDT:

Here is a look at simulated radar from 9 PM tonight through 1 AM Friday.  Keeping an eye on a pulse tomorrow morning where some snow  could work into across northern portions of the state around the Chicago Area, however, pavement impacts are not anticipated due to warmer temperatures.  Attention then shifts to a pulse of moisture Thursday, especially across southern IL where there could be some heavier rain and strong storms.  Precipitation looks to clear out Thursday night with a dry day expected THU.

Some models are a little more aggressive with the snow tomorrow morning.  Regardless, we still do not anticipate pavement impacts with the pulse tomorrow morning.  Here is a look at the NAM 3 KM model from 2 AM tomorrow morning through 8 AM.  Please watch the video for complete details.

Here is a look at preferred rainfall totals from 12 AM Wednesday through 12 AM Friday.  Please watch video for complete details.

We continue to keep an eye on a styes on Saturday that has some wintry potential.  However, as stated in the video, models have trended less with this threat over the last few runs.  Something we will continue to keep an eye on going forward.  Here is a look at the European model 1 PM Saturday.
