Good Thursday morning. Showers will continue to ramp up across the area this morning, heaviest in northern Indiana (don’t be surprised to hear thunder). As the system continues to strengthen, it draws in enough cold air for wet snow to mix in across northeast sections of Indiana this afternoon, where precip. rates will be the heaviest. Showers diminish around Indianapolis by mid-afternoon.
Perhaps a slushy 1-3″ snow in Lagrange, Noble, Steuben, and Dekalb counties this afternoon into early evening. The rest of us won’t see any snow.
Plan on a windy day with gusts 30-40 mph out of the northwest this afternoon!

High pressure will be in full control of our weather Friday through Sunday with lots of sunshine. Great timing for the weekend! Highs largely in the 40s, with some 50s by Sunday, especially south and west.
The next threat for rain arrives Monday, then we trend colder by the middle of next week when we may see some snow showers:
