Saturday Forecast Discussion:

The weak wave of snow we have been watching for Saturday still looks to arrive in the morning hours around 6-7AM with scattered light snow showers possible. These snow shower threats may continue in a scattered or off/on nature through 10/11 AM. However, dry air at the surface will likely limit the extent of snowfall threats for the area. A coating especially on untreated surfaces and grassy areas remains possible, though much of the snow may just blow around with accumulations anticipated to be less than 0.5”. Temperatures will rise above freezing by the PM hours and any snow accumulation will likely melt in the afternoon – though we can’t rule out some flurries while temperatures are above freezing in the afternoon.
