Check out the simulated radar going from 4pm today to 6am Wednesday CT.  Band of snow works in across north-central Illinois this evening, with a wintry mix of precipitation working northward into southern Illinois.  Precipitation moves out by 6am Wednesday.

More snow possible in northern parts of the state from late Wednesday night through the weekend, we will discuss more about this once we get past tonight’s system.  It is possible areas such as Chicago and Rockford pick up several additional inches of snow late week.
