Radar loop from 7-9am CT this morning showing snow falling across Nebraska and moving into Iowa this morning.  

Watching a disturbance that will generally stay north today, but should bring some light snow across northeast Missouri.  Here is the forecast radar through 6pm CT today:

1-2″ possible in northeast Missouri today, heavy snow in central Iowa.  Expected snowfall through 9PM this evening shown below:

Tuesday is shaping up to be a snowy day for portions of the region.  In fact, some spots may see several inches as a disturbance works across the area.  Snow begins in western Kansas overnight, then expands east during the day Tuesday through Tuesday night.  Forecast radar from 9pm this evening through 3am Wednesday:

Latest data is indicating a swath of several inches across central Kansas, then a bit less across northern Missouri.  Sharp southern cut-off expected:

Can’t rule out some light freezing rain in far southeast Missouri Tuesday night, especially near the boot-heel:
