2-2-20 Tovar Freeport – Rockford: Warm, Sunny, and Breezy Today… Fog Risk tomorrow morning. MG.

IL Update:

Sunshine and warmth are expected to continue today.  Here is a look at temperature by 3 PM.

Winds will begin to die down as we get into the late afternoon hours.  Will still have some wind gust ~35 MPH across NE IL around 3 PM (shown below).  Winds will continue to die down into the overnight.

Some fog will be possible across southern IL tomorrow morning from St. Louis extending towards the east towards the Indiana border along I-70.  Some more patchy fog will be possible across northern IL as well around the Freeport- Rockford areas.  Below is a look a the fog potential tomorrow morning around 4 AM.  The darker shades are indicative of fog.

Below is the temperatures by 5 AM tomorrow morning.  Some cooler temperatures below 32 F will be possible across northern IL.  If fog can form in these areas, then some slick spots will be possible.

More clouds will come into the picture tomorrow but looks to be another warm day across the state.  Here is a look at temperatures around 3 PM tomorrow.
