2-2-18 Ohio: Latest on weekend snowfall event…refreeze potential into Monday AM? K.

Simulated radar guidance late Saturday night into Sunday…through Sunday afternoon the precip-type will likely be wet snow, but the second half of the day working on some rain showers at times…given we will be above freezing, most if not all of this will melt on pavement:

Temps Sunday into Monday morning basically all above freezing Sunday but crashing into Sunday night…this is key because any remaining moisture on untreated surfaces will definitely refreeze. It’ll be tough to treat surfaces with this event because at times we likely work in some rain showers, washing away product on pavement. Biggest takeaway is take it very easy on the Monday morning commute as things could be icy:

Updated snowfall accumulation guidance…the BIG takeaway with this guys is the temps Sunday will mostly all be at or above freezing so the majority of this likely melts on contact. Along the I-70 corridor a slushy 1-2″ can’t be ruled out on grassy/elevated surfaces, slightly higher amounts to the north will be possible but still likely most of it melts with the warmth:
