2-19-18 Ohio: Very wet and mild week ahead…concern for flooding continues to grow. K.

Today’s video:

Rainfall will mostly be focused across the northwestern parts of the state over the next 60 hours…I think the model is slightly under done from Cincy to Columbus as we did have some showers moving through…totals here I think will be between 0.5-1″ with 1-2″+ possible north and to the west:

Next 2 days highs with wind guidance…it will be quite gusty with winds gusting at times to 30-40mph and quite warm likely into the 70s tomorrow around and south of I-70!

We target in the video another barrage of rainfall late week into the weekend…the European rainfall totals over the next 10 days is quite alarming…I think in some western parts of the state we could be underdone in rainfall with 4″+ looking likely…this spells one thing: a lot of flooding potential will be possible given the frozen and thawing ground and high water table:
