Quick update on snow moving in from IL this afternoon. A burst of moderate to heavy snow will move in over the next 2-4 hours. Generally up to 1” of snow can be expected however hi-res data is hinting at some locations in extreme NE IN that could see up to 2” with this burst of snow.
The latest hi-res HRRR model shows this for total accumulation which overall we agree with given latest trends.
The snow looks to fall from now west to 11pm east. Simulated radar loop gives us a good idea of the evolution of this event. Shuts off by 10/11pm in eastern counties. If you have any questions about the forecast please don’t hesitate to reach out via [email protected] M.
