Here is a look at the trends of the hrrr model of the last several runs (oldest to newest). Models continue to trend weaker with the precip today and will be hard to see much of anything today as the dry air looks to be winning out.
Here is a look at the current radar. There are some weak radar returns showing up around the Chicago area but have not found any reports of this precipitation hitting the ground. Overall, not anticipating too much in the way of precipitation today based off these trends and any moisture that can make it to the ground would be so light, it would be unimpactful.
