2-13-18 Ohio: Nice today…working in fog/drizzle mid-week with increasing rainfall chances Thurs into Fri. K.

Today’s video:

Overall a mild day ahead with sunshine…clouds increase the second half of the day into tonight. Expecting fog/drizzle conditions to work in late tonight into Thursday morning…overall temps will be at or above freezing and warming through the morning hours so not expecting freezing fog impacts at this time:

As we go throughout Wednesday afternoon into Thursday morning we see a reinforcing shot of light rain showers/drizzle/fog work in more statewide…it will be very mild, waking up to 40s and 50s Thursday morning! Locations south of I-70 look to see generally 0.25-0.5″ over the next 60 hours.

Right on the heels of this is our next disturbance working in Thursday afternoon/evening into Friday early afternoon…right now the GFS and Euro forecast models have some differences in terms of exactly where the heaviest rain will fall, with the Euro much wetter along and south of the I-70 corridor and the GFS more focused across Kentucky/West Virginia. Wouldn’t be shocked to see a few rumbles of thunder later Thursday into Friday morning as well with this disturbance…just need to fine-tune where the heaviest rainfall will drop as we continue throughout the week:
