Video (5:37):

Good Tuesday morning!  A disturbance continues to move east out of the area this morning.  Overall a nice day ahead with some sunshine and milder temperatures.  As we head into tonight, some areas of fog may form particularly over southeast Minnesota, though patches of fog are possible in South Dakota.  More fog will be possible Wednesday night, densest over southeast Minnesota.  Here is the visibility forecast over the next 2 nights.

There is snow in the forecast for some Wednesday evening through Thursday, but not expecting a big event.  The snow will be most robust over northern North Dakota/Minnesota where a 2-4″ snow band is likely.  Forecast radar from 3pm CT Wednesday to 9am CT Thursday:

Here are various model solutions regarding snow amounts Wednesday night.

Enjoy a mild day across the region Wednesday as colder air returns Thursday-Thursday night as a cold front moves through.

Friday will be a dry day with high pressure and sunshine.  A disturbance Friday night/Saturday may bring a round of light snow showers, then a stronger system showing up on Sunday.  It does appear this system will bring down much colder air for early next week, after a relatively mild start to the weekend.

Here a look at 7-day precipitation.  This will be highly dependent upon how the system on Sunday pans out, but some decent moisture possible for mainly northern portions of the area.
