Temps during this same time- high temps across the state reaching 36/37 today will help warm pavement and we would expect a pavement lag so there looks to be several hours where pavement temps do not fall below freezing while snow is falling.
Current favored snowfall accumulation- Based on warmer temps through the daytime hours today, surface temps never really falling below 32 during the event, and compaction, we favor totals on pavement to certainly be lower than what falls on grassy, elevated surfaces. Check video for details:
