Temps during this same time- high temps across the state reaching 36/37 today will help warm pavement and we would expect a pavement lag so there looks to be a few hours where pavement temps are not below freezing while snow is falling:
Current favored snowfall accumulation *including lake effect on Thursday*- Based on warmer temps through the daytime hours today, surface temps falling below 32 after some of our snow has fallen, and compaction, we favor lower totals on pavement than what is shown below. If any pavement is still wet come Thursday morning we will see refreeze- temps shown below are ~Noon CT Thursday:
