Here’s our first custom snowfall map below for the snow tomorrow night. As mentioned in the video and in this morning’s video, if the high pressure Northwest continues to trend stronger and the low pressure system continues to trend weaker, the precipitation shield will continue to shrink and become more “narrow”, and total snowfall accumulations could decrease as well. This is also why the heaviest track of snow has slowly ticked further south as well, which can continue on the data into tomorrow morning. What falls from the sky vs what accumulates on the pavement could be near 50% less because of above freezing surface air temps/pavement temps. Our map below is in regards to pavement accumulations.
