Northern Plains Forecast Video:

A clipper will bring some light snow showers into Minnesota today, especially east.  Majority of the Dakotas will stay dry today.  

Not much in the way of snow accumulations…1-2″ in eastern Minnesota.

High temperatures through the weekend:

A more potent disturbance will dive into Minnesota Sunday night and Monday.  This likely puts down 1-3″+ across northern and central Minnesota.

The pattern next week will feature additional disturbances diving in, notice how they aiming mostly into eastern portions of the area….this is thanks to a very amplified jet stream carrying these systems from far northwest Canada/Alaska, and diving southward into the upper Midwest and Great Lakes:
