Here is a look at simulated radar from 10 AM Sunday through 10 AM Monday.

Here is a look at preferred snowfall totals out through Monday afternoon.  Models have continued to shift north with the heaviest snowfall with general amounts of 2″ – 4″ to the north with isolated higher to the northeast.  Widespread 1″ – 3″ for central portions of the state with parts of SE SD seeing generally less than 1″.

We could still see a few flurries Monday afternoon into Tuesday morning as some passing upper level energy will be overhead.  These flurries would be light with minimal accumulations.  Overall, not anticipating this to be a widespread issue.  Below is a look at the upper level energy around 12 AM Tuesday.  The “greens” and “yellows” just indicate areas of upper motion capable of squeezing out a few flurries.

Temperatures will plummet for Monday and Tuesday.  Here is a look at the wind chill readings as we get into Monday morning.
