12-7-17 La Porte District Forecast
Synopsis: Good Thursday morning! Lake effect snow continues this morning moving east, shifting east into the Ft. Wayne District ~10am. We touch on the latest regarding the snowfall potential on Saturday, it’s important to note that we have 2 opportunities for snowfall: the wave of snow during the day and the lake effect on the backside Saturday night. We have on avg 1-3″ during the first wave, and then a total of ~8-10″ total when the lake effect band kicks up as shown below. Winds die down Sunday morning, but temps dip down into the lower teens, we will need to watch for some slicks spots as well. If you have any questions please let us know, have a blessed day! -Kirk
