Good Thursday morning everyone! Not a whole lot on the radar this morning with just a few areas of lingering snow showers/flurries from leftover energy following yesterday’s wave:
These will push east throughout the day and start to wind down from west to east this afternoon. However, we see another weak wave starting around 10PM and into tomorrow of some light snow showers mainly in NE ND and Northern Minnesota lingering into early tomorrow afternoon:
Areas that see snow could get a dusting to a very isolated 0.5″ but many stay completely dry with the snow being a bit hit or miss. After conditions clear tomorrow afternoon, we could see a few areas of patchy freezing drizzle/fog Saturday morning in the area outlined below:
No major systems to track in the next week or so, but we’ll need to watch a front mid-next week that could spawn some rain/snow showers in Eastern Minnesota. In the short-term, we remain cold before we start to moderate into next week:
