Synopsis: Good Tuesday morning. Rain is gradually exiting southeast Indiana after a widespread 0.5″-0.7″ over the past 12 hours. A cold front is passing through, and will send temperatures falling through the day into the lower 40s. Another front moves in Wednesday night (dry) and will bring in the “arctic air” for the end of the week. The main weather highlight into the weekend is a disturbance expected to move through late Friday night and on Saturday, bringing snow showers. We have decent confidence there will be some snow showers, but the big question is how much moisture. Most data is not very impressed with this system, but a general consensus of a coating to 1″ of snow being possible. It will be cold enough to create slick spots so we need to keep a close eye on this disturbance over the next few days. Brief moderation in temps Sunday into Monday before more reinforcing cold and possible snow chances next week. Have a great day, and let us know if you have any questions!
