Missouri Video:
Sunny and mild today. Areas mainly east of St. Louis could see patchy freezing fog develop late tonight into Thursday morning, which could create isolated black ice on bridges/overpasses around sunrise Thursday with temperatures right around freezing. Main risk is in our Illinois counties. Fog will be patchy, with a heavy frost likely. Sometimes on these heavy frost mornings we can get slick spots on bridges/overpasses.
Dry day on Thursday with increasing clouds, then we see scattered rain move in Thursday night. Forecast rain amounts up to 0.10″ just south of the city. We’ll clear back out Friday.
We’ll trend cooler Friday, then rebound this weekend. A strong cold front moves across the state Monday with a few showers, transitioning to snow showers Monday evening. A punch of cold air will work into the area through Wednesday of next week.
