Here is a look at the current hazards across the state. NW counties are currently under a winter weather advisory with snow and freezing rain possible in these areas.
Coverage of precipitation looks to expand from south to north today. Wintry precipitation looks to be confined to NW portions of the state where snow/ freezing rain will be possible. Most locations will receive primarily rain with pockets of moderate to heavy rainfall out through the weekend. Some rumbles of thunder and gusty conditions will be possible under some of the heavier storms. Here is a look preferred simulated radar guidance from 12 PM today through 12 PM Monday.

Here is a look at preferred snowfall amounts out through Monday morning. NW Kansas could see amounts of 1″ – 3″ of accumulations with lesser amounts to the southeast.
