As we head through the rest of the week, Iowa looks like the most likely target for several waves of snow. A couple rounds of snow Wednesday evening through Thursday, then another wave on Friday:
By Saturday, a 2-4″ swath of snow will likely be laid down across Iowa:
Behind this system on Friday, reinforcing arctic cold for the weekend. Check out just how cold the models are showing for lows on Saturday. If anything, this may be too warm. Make sure you are prepared over the next week. Definitely want to leave your faucets dripping each night to avoid freezing pipes.
