12-23-17 Illinois Update: Detailed analysis on expected accumulating snow Sunday. N.

Synopsis: Good Saturday morning!  Our wintry mix of precipitation this morning across southern Illinois has finally pushed east, and we expect a dry afternoon.  All eyes are on a potent disturbance that will spread snow into western portions of the state by the pre-dawn hours Sunday, and expect a healthy swath of snow to overspread much of the central and northern portions of the state throughout the day.  We expect additional snowfall to expand southward into the afternoon.  The system should exit by roughly 6pm CST.  Detailed analysis in the video below.  Expect another update out by 9PM this evening.  Have a great afternoon, and let us know if you have any questions!
