12-21-19 Tovar Chicago South: Quiet and mild into next week. MG.

Today’s Video:

Quiet and mild weather is expected into next week giving way for an unusually warm Christmas.  Plenty of sunshine is expected this weekend into early next week.

There is some potential for some fog development across southern/ central IL, central IN, and west central OH, as well as northern IL.  Below shows the fog potential tomorrow morning around 7 AM ET.

Low temperatures around 7 AM ET.  Especially across areas along the I-70 corridor some slick spots may develop associated with the fog.  0 tolerance lots may need to be monitored for this risk.  Warmer temperatures are expected in northern IL which will limit this risk.

Better chance for fog occurs for Monday morning.  Here is a look at the fog potential Monday morning.  Temperatures will once again be slightly below freezing Sunday night into Monday morning which could allow for some slick spots.  Greatest risk for this fog looks to be along the I-70 corridor.
