A low pressure system could produce very light snow, rain and freezing drizzle for Northern Kansas. (Timing: 9AM Today – 11PM Tonight)
A cold front currently divides Kansas with a warm air mass in the east and cold air filtering into the west. This front will move to the east and pass through most of Kansas and Missouri by tomorrow morning leading to overall colder temperatures for the area.
Heavy rain will fall in Southeast Missouri Friday into early Saturday with over an inch of rain possible in the Bootheel.
Finally, a disturbance will pass through the area on Christmas Eve. This could lead to some light snowfall accumulations in parts of Northern Kansas and Missouri.
