Synopsis: Good Tuesday morning! Expecting a quiet day of weather ahead with mild temperatures in the upper 40s to lower 50s for highs. A storm system will pass by to the south of Indiana Wednesday. Cannot rule out a few showers south of Bloomington/Columbus, better chance for areas along the Ohio River. Areas north stay dry. We are watching a decent rain maker to move through the state late Friday into Saturday morning. The data is trending higher with rainfall potential for most areas. The heaviest rain will fall in southeast Indiana, where over 1″ is likely. A cold front passes early Saturday, with colder air continuing to build in through the weekend. We still target the risk for some snow Christmas Eve into Christmas Day. This will be followed by frigid air settling in through the middle of next week.
