Additional snow accumulation- we have seen slightly more drier air in the mid levels of the atmosphere than what was first modeled. This is helping evaporate any precip that is trying to make it to the surface, as well as keeping the air slightly unsaturated throughout the low to mid levels of the atmosphere which can sometimes lead to sleet- something that can really cut on snow totals:
