Synopsis: Good Thursday morning. We are seeing lake-effect snow showers across western sections of the La Porte district this morning, mainly into Lake and Porter counties where a winter weather advisory is in place until 11AM CST. Expect the snow showers to continue here through late morning, with the activity fizzling out this afternoon. This will not affect any of the Fort Wayne district today. Additional flurries and snow showers expected to arrive Friday morning (mainly 7am-2pm), then additional rounds of snow showers possible from a South Bend to Fort Wayne line and points north/east into early Saturday. Still some lower confidence in exact placement, as some models even keep it further north of the border with Michigan. Will be important to watch our short-term updates for the latest info.
