12-14-17 Central Plains Regional Forecast: Mild pattern into early next week with limited moisture…big changes showing up late month! N.

Looking at the weekend, much of Saturday looks dry and very mild.  Two systems on the map for Sunday.  A weak wave over Nebraska may bring a light mix, and another system to the southeast will bring showers across Missouri.  Unfortunately, this means many of us get “skipped” from the moisture.  Forecast map for Sunday shown below:

Big changes show up in the weather pattern later next week and continuing through Christmas week.  A much colder and active pattern looks to evolve.  A nice storm track will set up along a sharp temperature gradient shown below.  Certainly a positive sign for more moisture here as well as winter storm potential.  More in today’s video!
