12-13-17 Central Plains Regional Forecast: Very light precipitation for some Thursday…another chance this weekend. N.

Windy day ahead for the entire area…wind advisories for eastern Nebraska where the highest gusts are expected (also expecting similar gusts in northern Missouri):

A couple disturbances work in across Nebraska into Kansas on Thursday.  This will bring a bit of a wintry mix across Nebraska into northern Kansas.  Forecast radar shown below:

Next chance for some precipitation arrives Saturday night and Sunday.  We could see a wintry mix across Nebraska and some showers further south and east (mostly over Missouri).  Want to stress that we are not looking at any significant moisture here.  Forecast radar at 6am CST shown below:
