12-12-17 Vincennes/Seymour Districts Forecast: Icy spots possible this morning, especially across the Seymour district. N.

Synopsis: Good Tuesday morning! We are watching areas of freezing drizzle across northern portions of the Seymour district this morning.  This activity continues to move southward.  Temperatures in northern parts of the area are now at or below freezing (as of 5am).  Some additional drizzle showing up near Evansville/Vincennes, but temperatures still above freezing there.  The concern this morning is temperatures will continue to drop below freezing from north to south, so we need to keep an eye on the potential of icy spots to form as drizzle continues to leave moisture on the roads, then a transition to flurries as deeper cold air works in.  We trend dry through the day, and tonight looks dry.  We need to watch another clipper system to impact the area Wednesday (similar to the current system we are facing).  Temperatures should warm up ahead of it (likely into the 40s for most), with scattered light rain working in later in the afternoon and evening (especially north).  Colder air works back in behind the low pressure throughout Wednesday night, with temperatures falling to near freezing in northern locations of the Seymour district by 10pm EST, then temperatures drop below freezing in most areas beyond midnight, and we need to watch for light areas of drizzle transitioning to a few flurries.  Moisture looks limited and not overly concerned for our area thanks to this system tracking further north, but something to keep an eye on.  Details in the video!  Have a great day, and let us know if you have any questions!
